Abstract
Piet Mondrian, a Dutch painter, began his artistic journey by depicting nature. Over time, he was drawn to the emerging trend of transitioning from figurative to abstract art through a profound analysis of nature. This article explores how Mondrian consistently enriched the style of abstract art in his practice, transforming geometric design concepts into his paintings. It also highlights how his work has influenced contemporary practical art. The reality he created through abstract painting became recognized by society as a new harmonious visual design. Mondrian's influence extends beyond painting; his use of simplified primary colors and lines has become increasingly popular in architecture, interior design, furniture, clothing, and jewelry. His significant contributions to the development of art are thoroughly evaluated in this article.
